Routinely participated in dialogue as a facilitator working with both technology providers and food industry representatives to bridge gaps in understanding and implications when new developments are introduced (such as new varieties with special/ functional traits).
Participated in the Codex Alimentarious development of biotechnology safety standards and strategies to deal with asynchronous approvals and low-level presence.
Developed and delivered a Biotech 101 course and also provided a workshop on U.S. food labeling regulations.
